All the details, none of the fluff
Nestled alongside the fine lake, this historic hotel charms with its architecture and amazing views. The generous buffet breakfast on the terrace sets an idyllic start to the day. Rooms boast balconies with picturesque vistas. While the costs for dining can pinch the wallet, nearby restaurants offer good alternatives. Anticipation builds for its transformation into a modern gem!

Enjoyed this recently refurbished accommodation with professional and well-trained staff in an understated professional manner. The room was a nice size and we had access to a lovely pool. The pool bar was elegant! Everything was really good and met required needs...

great views but limited breakfast variety
The fine lake view from my Superior Double Room with Balcony was amazing. I appreciated the attention to cleanliness, with sheets and towels changed frequently. The location is fantastic was good, but you really need a car or the lake boats for convenience.
The breakfast options could be improved for more variety.

The staff were excellent and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely place to relax and enjoy and very unspoilt compared to some of the other destinations on Lake Garda. We shall go again.

We liked it. It was a special experience & staff was fabulous! Quality cuisine. We had a stunning view. Pool was great, comfortable to sit around. We ate at the a la carte restaurant not far from the hotel.

The location is amazing, offering amazing views that are hard to match. The Junior Suite with Balcony and Lake View was spacious and impeccably clean. Enjoying breakfast on the fine terrace, particularly with the homemade preserves, was a highlight. Service recognition for special occasions was lacking, and the packed breakfast was disappointing.

Fine views and sweet gardens!
I stayed for 3 nights in a Classic Double with a balcony and wow, the view was unreal! The breakfast was delish, especially the pastries. But I gotta say, the front desk staff could use some training. They got my birthday plans mixed up, which put a damper on things. Still a lovely spot overall!

Fine lake views from the balcony room.
The check-in process was excessively slow, taking over 30 minutes.

The hotel is a nice old "palace' type situated directly on the lake. Price is a bit high and parking is an extra, noting that there is no way to park near by, this is a mandatory extra! Internet usage is also quite expensive. This does not suit such a "palace".
